A
Character
Cottage Available for 6 month Letting
Jess
Cottage is set overlooking the town of Kendal in
the South Lakes and lies within walking distance of both
the countryside and the heart of the Town. One of the beautiful
character cottages built of local limestone it is situated in a
quiet no-through road around the corner from where Postman Pat had
his post office! Nestled on the Greenside area of Kendal there are
wonderful walks from the door, ranging from the low level walk
beside the bustling river Kent to woodland and countryside walks
all the way through to Windermere.
Kendal
is the " Gateway to the Lakes," and home of the famous Kendal
mint cake; some of which was carried to the summit of Everest
on the 1953 expedition. There are many fine eating places in the
town serving food made from produce sourced in Cumbria and a short
walk from the cottage is a quiet pub overlooking the green.
The Brewery Arts Centre
restaurant and bar on Highgate is another comfortable venue and
also provides a cinema and concert room.
This
cottage is available to Rent for a minimum period of 6 months from
